TSS - RaT Plug

Dude! Where oh were did the first quarter of the year go? I mean really, don't you all feel as though it was just January? Reading resolutions were being created? Longing looks were given to that stack (or shelves) or books that were unable to get read. Anticipation and excitement for the year 2010 to come ...blah...blah...blah...

And now it's Spring. And the weather is gorgeous. And I'm being called out of my home by the whistling of birds, sun-kissed flowers, and whispering breeze (it's all very disney-like in my mind people....)

We just had a porch added onto our home and I imagine that's where I'll be ALL DAY NEXT SATURDAY because... (you guessed it!)

It's the first Read - A - Thon in 2010!!

Have you signed up yet? If you have, please let me know, so I can follow you during the 24 hours of read-eyed bliss. (Hahaha, I crack myself up sometimes).

I pulled some books off of my shelf but am questioning my choices. Most are thick and dense. I might just read most of my YA novels laying around and graphic novels. That way I won't get restless or foggy brained.

I hope everyone is having a beautiful Sunday. I'll be taking it easy. Tomorrow morning is a 6AM shuttle launch. D and I plan on packing up the kayak and heading over to the coast to paddle out and watch it. Just a bit of an extended Spring Break treat before returning to work on Tuesday.

Cheers everyone. And Happy Reading!

  5. I'm really looking forward to the read-a-thon. I've been in such a reading rut lately, I need a read-a-thon to kick start things again.

Enjoy the rest of the week!
