Audio Week ~ Listen Up!

Friday for Audio Week states, Listen Up!

Where do you learn about great audiobook titles? Find reviews? Buy your audiobooks? Share your secrets with the rest of us!

This one is pretty easy...I get most of my audio books from the library and honestly, I tend to listen to more YA books because they can hold my interest longer in the sporadic times I'm in my car.  As I mentioned in the beginning of this week, my commute to work is only about five minutes long...I only get a good solid twenty minutes of straight audio listening when I hit my Jazzercise class.

I'm always on the look out for good audio books and bloggers who focus in on audio reviews.  Hit me up in the comments with suggestions!

  1. Thinking of YA books and audiobooks that you can listen to for short bursts of time, you might want to take a look at (listen to?) Agatha H and the Airship City by Phil and Kaja Foglio. It's based on the web comic of the same name so while it's definitely a cohesive story, it does have something of an episodic flow that lets you start/stop easily and the narration by Angela Dawe includes excellent character voices.
